The Youth Robotics Association (YRA) is a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing the next generation of tech leaders. Our mission is to inspire and equip young minds with the knowledge and skills in robotics, artificial intelligence, and STEM disciplines. Through hands-on learning, innovative projects, and collaborative challenges, we create an environment where students can explore their passions, develop critical thinking, and build the foundation for future careers in technology. The Youth Robotics Association (YRA) was born in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world faced unprecedented challenges, a group of passionate robotics engineers, AI experts, and dedicated parents saw an opportunity to make a difference. United by a common goal, they set out to create a platform that would bring the power of robotics, AI, and coding to every neighboruhood, regardless of background or resources.
With schools closing and children confined to their homes, the founders recognized the growing need for engaging, educational opportunities that could be accessed from anywhere. They envisioned a community where students could not only learn about technology but also connect with like-minded peers and mentors who shared their passion for innovation.
What began as a small initiative quickly grew into a thriving association, driven by the belief that every child should have the opportunity to explore the world of robotics and AI. Today, YRA continues to expand its reach, offering programs and resources that empower young learners to unlock their full potential and pave the way for a brighter future.
